The term propaganda means information which is used to promote a particular point of view. It happens all the time in today’s time more than we actually know it, we all have a particular point of view and eventually we all side with the one side that is the majority on social media whether we believe it or not. This first image is of an infographic that is very straighforward showing the green which is profit and red which is cost, it is eye-appealing for potential buyers or investors that want to invest into the product because if it's eye-appealign then they have your attenton to hear what you have to say. I personally like this infographic more because of the fact of the rocket ship going up which shows the potential of the product or service going up. It's more appealing because of the rocket ship. This is the image that literally changed the world. Changed the way we live and changed everything around us. This is how people's expressions changed once they saw the image of COVID-19 through all the platforms anyone would watch. the change in expression is exavtly how most of the people who didnt think COVID-19 was real once they saw the image. I think the idea of this unit part 1 which is visualizing science is relatable to the class which is visual communication. In essence we create communication, and we create science through our words that essentially make a mental image as we are communicating. I believe I can speak for a lot of people when I say that visualizing the issue at hand will make it worst than ever and make it feel more real along with the way media displays it. Up to this point, the class is going pretty well. I like all of the topic we are covering and it’s pretty self-explanatory, with the new online courses, it does feel a lot harder when it’s all spread out in my opinion. I took a bunch of classes in the summer and I liked it and I guess it was because it was pretty much everyday so the timing went by so fast but with the online classes in the fall it feels so spread out that I end up doing things late or something comes up left and right, life isn’t easy in the pandemic to say the least in my opinion. Ever topic we’ve covered in this class is important and for sure my favorite assignments we’ve done is the Birmingham campaign and the assignment we had with the museum where we had to look at the videos and then speak and relate it. with these images you can see the comparison of 1968 vs 2020 2020 is very much like a 1968 just a lot more eventful. What I felt was the best thing to speak about this time around was 1968 vs 2020. Just as last week was, the same assignment that posted last week related to the topics, is the same for this week. For this week we had an assignment to look at a video that spoke about images from 1968. 1968 looks a lot like 2020, just 2020 is worst in opinion. 2020 is honestly one of the most anticipated years and the most disappointing because of that. the first image is my recreation using Molly Bang's methods and the youtube link leads to the end of Lion King so you can see the difference and see if it brings out an emotional response. The ideal of the children’s project and the recreation that we had to do with it really allowed a new representation and perspective of Molly Bang’s work and how important it is to understand the concept of images and shapes and the simplicity of things. When I say simplicity, I mean how just simple shapes or objects and the way they are put in a page can bring out a certain perspective of it. For example, just like the top half of an image will show triumph and victoriousness and that’s essentially what I did when I re-created the story of Lion King and in the end when Simba is standing on the top of Pride Rock after he beats Scar. ^^ I use a great Icon, Kobe Bryant who unfortunately passed away in January. His life in photographs allow us to remember him in our memories and all of his great ventures throughout his career. This is the product of photography and why it is so important for our own memories as well as others. In part 3 of unit 3, what I like about this is the transition from text to photos because it relates to how our technology and how media has gone from texts to photos and how they are in correlation with one another. The aspect of photography is so relevant that people have been getting paid a lot of money to do it over the years and even now getting paid millions to do so. Even with the apps we use, photography is something everyone does on a regular basis. When I say that photography has evolved, look at the apps such as Instagram and snapchat. It is all revolved around taking pictures and sending pictures to people. People will take pictures of food, take pictures of one another, ...

So, with the second part of unit 3. The idea of text has become so relevant in our lives because of one major aspect which is that everyone texts every single day. We have people who are young, middle-age and even older who are texting every single day. I have my grandfather texting me on a regular basis meanwhile years ago, he only ever used a flip phone. Times have changed but the main point is that texting has become a major part of everyone’s lives with the evolution of technology and phones. People would much rather text than speak on the phone, even posting a status, people are texting their status of how they feel onto social media. With the idea of texts also comes with the ideals of fonts and different types of ways to acquire attention for other people. For example, a lot of people who do YouTube or social media, if they have certain fonts that are different from the standard times new roman, it will gain attention of others such as the blow up font, different color ...

What I found interesting in unit 2 is that the idea of sensation and perception are linked together in the world. This pandemic has shown completely how sensation and perception are linked. For me personally, I’ve seen it firsthand as I try to explain to others the way things feel compared to the way I see, compared to the way they see it. When I speak about this, I mean about the idea of gyms and the idea of going to a park to play basketball. Of course, with the way the pandemic is, people will say that it’s not necessary to go out, or not necessary to go anywhere and I understand that. Even these last weeks a lot of people were fighting against the idea of going back to the gym and opening gyms and opening parks for that matter. The fact of the matter is, a lot of people also never had the sensation of going to a gym or to a park compared to those that wanted the parks open. Although in this week's class it was very quick and brief, what took my interest the most was the idea of Vision. John Medinaa's Rule #10 of the brain rule is that vision trumps all other senses. I believed it went deeper than that, and i could be wrong but it's how i would of taken it. Yes in general he explains that vision will help a person remember the information better or allow them to take it in better per say but i believe without vision, there is no goal and i don't mean the actual vision of sight. As going through the slides, it mentoned about how vision will allow one to see and better take in the information. In that case, vision goes along with imgaination correct? If you can see it, you can manifest it and create it is how the saying goes. So vision goes beyond just seeing a picture and taking in the information, vision allows for someone to have a goal and if they can see their goal it allows them to grow more as a person.
