POLITICAL ADVERTISING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME..... MEDIA ERA

Again, the whole image isn't being shown but you get the point here. ^^^^ I have to go and find the pictures on my phone because clearly google images doesn't help =/ Political advertising is very apparent especially this year. With this blog I want to bring up the importance to be able to adapt with the times. I say that because in this sense, it is a whole different election now compared to back then. We are in a time where media is apparent, and it can be seen as you can see how much Donald Trump our president is on Twitter and everything he says is pretty much posted online by other pages. In this aspect I want to bring up how political advertising literally changed the way elections will be held for the future as shown with the election that just passed. Ultimately, everything will be focused on media. I’d like to talk about two images that I do have about the election and the results of it. Political advertising is very important because you can see that Trump has done things in a very bad manner considering this year the way it has played out with the BLM, COVID-19, Asians, etc. There is a lot of bad that has happened and with the election it was everyone’s time to shine with the all the memes and all of the artwork used to change the way people would view the election and the candidates. As mentioned in previous blogs, we as people are constantly going to be attracted to what catches our eyes and with memes and the new media era with all these artworks and pieces, it will be easier to decide who we want to go with and the more logical one to go with. Of course, in this sense, going with Biden was the ideal way to go. With the era of media, it is now, people are more likely to expect more memes and more incoming images regarding any election for candidates. The images I mentioned earlier are one where it has Biden on the face of Thanos as he snaps and erases all of the Trump supporters and everything they stand for as one of them and another image is of Trump as an NBA player Iguodala was going up for the infamous layup in game 7 of the finals and Lebron James with (Biden Face’s) goes up to the block the shot (the shot being Trump thinking he’s going to win the election). In a sense, this is political advertising to show what Biden means for him winning. I’ll explain. With the Thanos image he erased all of the Trump supporters and leaves it for people who aren’t those supporters and also with the other image it is with Biden blocking the chance of Trump winning the election which he did and thus dethroned the one who everyone thought was going to win, thus Biden being the underdog just as the cavaliers were during 2016. The whole aspect of this is that political advertising plays a major aspect in people’s dictation of how others will look and with media, if the candidate can work well or adapt with the media then they will eventually lose because the fact is, we are in a time of technology and to be the most effective in the time, one must be able to adapt to it’s circumstances. The political advertising, a lot of it was done by the supporters ultimately and it led to the victory that was necessary for the change of the era. Political advertising is a changed experience nowadays with media and for the better ultimately. #avengers #thanos #political #biden

So, with the second part of unit 3. The idea of text has become so relevant in our lives because of one major aspect which is that everyone texts every single day. We have people who are young, middle-age and even older who are texting every single day. I have my grandfather texting me on a regular basis meanwhile years ago, he only ever used a flip phone. Times have changed but the main point is that texting has become a major part of everyone’s lives with the evolution of technology and phones. People would much rather text than speak on the phone, even posting a status, people are texting their status of how they feel onto social media.
